About Pure Physio
Pure Physio was founded in October 2008 by Caroline Pepper, Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. Pure Physio aims to be the best local provider of quality Physiotherapy, ensuring a consistently professional and friendly service. We are committed to evidence-based and effective treatment, ensuring a speedy recovery and return to function.
Pure Physio is located within Applemore Health and Leisure centre, on the ground floor. There is ample free parking, easy access and disabled facilities.
Caroline Pepper has over 10 years experience working as a Physiotherapist, and specializes in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries. She qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from University of the West of England, Bristol in 1999. She then completed her junior rotations at Ealing Hospital, London, before specialising in Musculoskeletal Outpatients. She worked for 5 years as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist within a large NHS teaching hospital in Sheffield.
Caroline completed an MSc in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, with MACP membership, in 2007 before managing a team of Physiotherapists for a large company within the private sector. She then set up her own Physiotherapy clinic, Pure Physio in October 2008. In addition, Caroline is a Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Shoulder and Knee problems and works closely alongside Consultants within these areas.
Caroline maintains her own Continuing Professional Development to ensure she remains updated with the latest evidence-based practice. She works closely with on-site Personal Trainers and Sports Therapists to ensure effective and personalised rehabilitation. Using advanced assessment skills, the application of highly skilled and effective manual therapy techniques, combined with physical exercise, she is able to effectively diagnose, treat and rehabilitate problematic aches, pains and injuries.
